Liverpool star striker Luis Suarez would find it hard to say no to the prospect of joining Spanish giants Real Madrid, says his lawyer Alejandro Balbi.
Suarez has emerged as one of the prime transfer targets for the Los Blancos following his superb showings in the last couple of seasons for Liverpool, and one can expect an official offer from Real Madrid soon, reports the Daily Mail.
Suarez’s market value is believed to be worth anywhere between £70 million and £100 million, but the Reds’ asking price for the 27-year old might not frighten Madrid, who bought two of the most expensive players in the form of Gareth Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo by splashing over 80 million pounds for each of them.
The Uruguayan international though has insisted that he is not angling for a move to Spain as he is happy with having settled down at Merseyside, but one cannot be certain about how the transfer saga will pan out until an actual offer from Real Madrid comes in.
Speaking about Suarez’s burning desire to play in Spain for one of the World’s best teams, his lawyer was quoted saying in the Daily Mail, “’A year ago he was very likely to leave Liverpool (for Arsenal).’Now I think it is very difficult because he is an idol, although clubs can offer a lot of money. If there is such a big offer from Real Madrid, it would be very difficult to say no. Luis Suarez has always had a predisposition for Spain.’
