Arsenal won the Community Shield for the second successive time, beating Chelsea 1-0 at Wembley to land a psychological blow on the defending champions before the title race has even begun.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain scored the only goal of the game midway through the first half at Wembley, while Blues stalwart Petr Cech kept out his former teammates at the other end.
Victory for the Gunners meant that Arsene Wenger had finally got one over on Chelsea counterpart Jose Mourinho, beating him for the first time in 14 attempts. There was no post-match handshake.
