With the Seattle Seahawks deciding not to go to Marshawn Lynch with the game on the line at Super Bowl XLIX on Sunday night, a number of NBA stars were left stunned too.
The Seahawks shocked everyone with their decision to throw a slant pass into a crowded line of scrimmage instead of handing off to the best running back in the league with multiple opportunities to run it in.
Ultimately, it cost them the game as Patriots rookie Malcolm Butler came up with the huge interception which sealed the game for New England as they won the Super Bowl 28-24.
Naturally, the NFL community went into meltdown with the decision from coach Pete Carroll and quarterback Russell Wilson, but a collection of NBA players were also left speechless after witnessing what many have described as the worst play call ever.
Damn…………….. Why didn’t we just hand It to the best back in the league??????????????? Give him three chances to score!
