Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Jerome Simpson was suspended by the league for three games after being arrested for drunk driving last November.
However, he is facing new charges after accepting reckless driving charges earlier on. These include a misdemeanor marijuana possession charge and driving with an open bottle for alcohol.
An arraignment has been set for Simpson on Nov. 3, and he may face even more serious charges and a longer suspension by the NFL.
