New boss to set the ball rolling as more transfer activity is expected before the start of next season.
Tottenham Hotspur’s new boss Mauricio Pochettino is all but ready to make his mark over transfer dealings at White Hart Lane by successfully landing 21-year old Swansea City left-back Ben Davies, according to the Mirror.
The Argentine boss is plotting several changes to the Spurs lineup this summer, and Davies could be his first signing for the North Londoners.
Pochettino likes to play possession football, and Davies’ ability to link up well with his forwards as well as discharge his defensive duties effectively has caught the eye of Pochettino.
Moreover, Spurs have just the one specialist left-back in Danny Rose in their ranks at the moment, and therefore could do with signing the £8 million rated Davies.
The Wales left-back has already established himself in the Premier League with the Swans, having made 71 appearances for them since 2012, and has also been capped 10 times for the Welsh senior side so far.
