Swansea City host Kuban Krasnodar in the UEFA Europa League in a great position, having won both their matches in Group A so far.
Games against Valencia and FC St Gallen ought to have troubled a team not particularly experienced in European football, but Swansea have adapted to continental competition like ducks to water, which will greatly please manager Michael Laudrup.
Kuban Krasnodar’s main threat will come from former Liverpool, Sunderland and QPR striker Djibril Cisse, whilst Viktor Goncharenko’s managerial pedigree in the UEFA Champions League will also be a great help.
