He’s confirmed it on Twitter – for the second time.
Johan Elmander, Galatasaray striker and social media enthusiast, has kept fans updated on his impending transfer to Norwich City.
After revealing his plans to switch to East Anglia entirely out of the blue last week, Elmander tweeted again yesterday:
On the way to Norwich City!

A new career begins tomorrow!.. I'm happy to be back in England. You know more than me, but it's right. 🙂

What’s more, Galatasaray’s technical director Bulent Tulun confirmed the transfer in an interview with Swedish newspaper Expressen: “He was very good and successful in his first season. But he lost his seat when he was injured.
“He’s a good man, he did his job and we like him. But it feels a bit like it’s getting to the end of his career now. Then we wanted to fill the quota of foreign players with players other than Elmander, and he wants to get a good end to his career,so the offer from the Premier League came at the right time.
“We wish him well in the future.”
Elmander will have his work cut out for him if he hopes to break into the first team, with strikers Gary Hooper and Ricky van Wolfswinkle having already signed for the Canaries this summer.
Elmander does have an advantage in that he is the only one of the three with previous Premier League experience though, having scored 18 goals in 92 appearances for Bolton Wanderers.
