Sydney forward Frank-Paul Nuuausala has been cleared of any wrongdoing in relation to a brawl at a Double Bay earlier this week, the Roosters said in a statement.
The Roosters said Rose Bay Local Area Command informed it of Nuuausala’s innocence and have told the NRL Integrity Unit.
35-year-old Chris Downie was taken to St Vincents Hospital after suffering a broken nose in a fight at the Golden Sheaf Hotel.
The man said one member of the group involved in the incident was a Sydney Roosters player.
“The Sydney Roosters do not condone any form of anti-social behaviour and will be making no further comment on the matter,” the statement ended.
