The Sydney Swans will appeal to the AFL to have its trade ban lifted at a special meeting on December 15.
The meeting was confirmed by Swans chairman Andrew Pridham and was brought on at the request of the Swans.
It comes after AFL banned the Swans from signing any restricted or unrestricted free agents for the 2015 or 2016 seasons unless it abandoned its cost of living allowance (COLA).
The @sydneyswans has requested a meeting with the @AFL Commission to challenge the Trade Ban. The meeting will occur on 15 December. 1/2

2/2. I believe to comment further re the Trade Ban prior to our meeting with @AFL would be inappropriate and disrespectful of the process.
