Odegaard has become something of a footballing sensation since he emerged in the first team of Norwegian Tippeligaen club Stromsogdset at the age of just 15, whilst he has also made his debut for Norway’s senior team before his sixteenth birthday.
Now that particular landmark age has passed, Odegaard is free to sign a contract with a foreign club and Hoffenheim feel that they could provide a good “stepping stone” for the “phenomenal” Odegaard in his career, potentially keeping him from the clutches of Arsenal and Liverpool.
