Manchester United have tied down 16-year-old wonderkid Callum Gribbin to a long-term contract.
Liverpool had reportedly hoped to steal the highly-rated teenager from their fierce rivals after hearing that he had fallen out with United staff at their Carrington training ground earlier this year.
But the Metro claims that Gribbin has now committed himself to the Red Devils for the next four years.
There are big hopes for the youngster at Old Trafford, and he had even been training with United’s first-team squad before they departed for their pre-season tour of America.
Gribbin is capable of playing as a wide midfielder or in a role behind the striker, and might make his senior debut for the Premier League giants in the Capital One Cup this season.
