6) Sterling bounces back v Tottenham…

At the start of the season, Sterling was nowhere near the starting XI, and following a shocking performance against Hull City, there were calls for him to be sent on loan. Versus Tottenham at White Hart Lane though, the wonderkid blew Spurs away, and gave Kyle Naughton such a tough time the fulback was hauled off at half-time. Liverpool won 5-0, and Sterling’s been a fixture in the side ever since, improving every week. As a result, he’s likely to start for England at the World Cup. What a turn around!
