The Daily Mirror are adamant that Burnley forward Danny Ings will be joining Liverpool this summer on a Bosman deal after the 22-year-old ran down his contract at Turf Moor.

It was thought an agreement to bring him to Anfield was near completion in January, however the Clarets managed to keep the young striker until the end of the season.

Despite no contract to buy-out, Liverpool will still need to pay between £3 million and £5 million because of the player’s age.
