9) Alexandre Lacazette (Lyon)
An exciting talent, Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette was desperately unlucky to miss out on a place in France’s World Cup squad after enjoying a superb breakthrough season this term. Still only 23 years old, the Frenchman fired 23 goals and laid on a further seven assists for his team-mates in all competitions. Liverpool have been linked as one of a number of clubs looking at him this summer, with Arsenal also thought to be keen, but he certainly looks like the mould of striker that would fit it perfectly into Brendan Rodgers’ style of play at Anfield.
