Van Gaal plans to clear the decks at Old Trafford.
Manchester United boss Louis Van Gaal could be set to offload up to ten players this summer as he prepares to hold talks with several members of the squad about their futures next week, the Daily Telegraph reports.

Brazilian defender Rafael is believed to be heading the exodus, though there could also be some new for the likes of Radamel Falcao and even Robin Van Persie.
Rafael is entering the final 12 months of his contract at Old Trafford, and with the club apparently lining up a move for Southampton’s Nathaniel Clyne over the summer he may find a move will be the best way to continue his career.
Michael Carrick, Ashley Young and Tom Cleverley could also find themselves heading for the exit, as Van Gaal will no doubt look to rejuvenate his squad with a second spell of heavy spending over the summer.
