Gerrard got his day at Anfield last weekend, but this will be his final call. Ending his 17-year association with the club to follow Frank Lampard to the MLS (albeit to the other coast). However, Gerrard’s is more a case of ‘see you later’ than goodbye, as he has already made noises about returning to Anfield in some sort of capacity in the near future.
