Arsenal and England have suffered a cruel blow with the news that Theo Walcott has been ruled out of action for the next six months with ruptured anterior knee ligaments, which leaves both his club boss Arsene Wenger and national team coach Roy Hodgson with decisions to make on who to play in his stead.
The Gunners have a ready made replacement in 18 year-old German winger Serge Gnabry, who has shone upon his promotion to the first team this season, and Wenger also has the option of entering the January transfer market.
