Enner Valencia (West Ham United)
One eye-catching signing to be made this summer was that of Ecuadorian striker Enner Valencia for West Ham United, with Sam Allardyce having shelled out around £12m for the player.
It’ll be interesting to see whether Valencia can continue his fine form from the World Cup in the Premier League, and also whether he helps the Hammers’ transition to a more entertaining style of football.
Bojan Krkic (Stoke City)
Stoke City’s signing of Barcelona forward Bojan Krkic on a four-year deal came completely out of left-field, with the Spaniard having been seen as one of La Masia’s most impressive graduates when he first emerged at the Nou Camp.
Bojan has struggled in spells with AC Milan and Ajax since then, however, so it will be fascinating to see whether Mark Hughes can finally get the best out of the player in the Potteries.
