He may be lacking a good barber and NFL wins, but Titans QB Zach Mettenberger is certainly not lacking for confidence.
Tennessee Titans QB Zach Mettenberger said he is confident he could beat top QB prospects Jameis Winston or Marcus Mariota if he had to compete with them.

In an interview with WGFX-FM in Nashville, Tennessee, the Titans QB expressed confidence in his own abilities and made it clear that he could beat either one of them in a QB competition in August.
“They are obviously very talented guys,” Mettenberger said. “…If they were here I think they would say the same thing: If we had to compete out there, I think I’d beat them out.”
The Titans hold the No. 2 overall pick in the 2015 NFL draft after finishing 2-14 in 2014 – due in large part to the team’s troubles at QB. While GM Ruston Smith has told the media that the team is happy with Mettenberger and is not desperate to draft a QB with the No. 2 pick, questions remain as to Mettenberger’s viability as a long-term starter.
As a rookie out of LSU in 2014, Mettenberger went 0-6 in six starts after taking over for the Titans in Week 8. He had a series of impressive performances against the Steelers, Texans and Eagles but was injured in a Week 14 loss to the New York Giants.
He finished his rookie season with 59.8% completion, 1,412 passing yards, 8 TDs, 7 INTs and a passer rating of 83.4.
