FOX Sports’ Alex Marvez reported that the Tennessee Titans, who own the No. 2 overall pick in the 2015 NFL draft, will meet with Mariota – considered by most to be one of the top two QB prospects in the draft along with Florida State QB Jameis Winston – after his public workout for NFL scouts at Oregon’s Pro Day.

The Titans finished the 2014 season with a 2-14 record, their worst since 1994, but lost the tie-breaker for the No. 1 overall pick to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Buccaneers are expected to draft Jameis Winston No. 1 overall, which leaves the Titans with any other pick available – including the former Oregon star.
Mariota won the 2015 Heisman Trophy after leading the NCAA in total offense and passer rating while bringing the No. 2 Oregon Ducks to a PAC-12 Championship, a Rose Bowl win over the defending college football champion Florida State Seminoles, culminating in a loss to the Ohio State Buckeyes in the National Championship game. While many have praised Mariota’s athleticism and leadership, some have questioned his NFL-arm strength.
