One sports fan didn’t seem to realise that he’d gone from being observed to the observed this week as tennis megastar Maria Sharapova spotted him reading an article about her, the Daily Mail reports.

The man was seemingly so engrossed in the story that he didn’t realise the lady herself was stood right behind him.
Brilliantly, she took a snap of him reading the article and commented: “Hey buddy, I’m right behind you… :)”
