Lazar Markovic (Benfica to Liverpool)
One of Brendan Rodgers’ signings to have been made following the departure of Suarez to Barcelona was Benfica winger Lazar Markovic, who will be expected to contribute immediately having joined for a big transfer fee.
The wide man is rated as one of the finest young players in Europe, but he will have to hit the ground running for Rodgers if the Reds aren’t to miss the influence of Suarez too much.
