Nemanja Matic – Benfica

The former Chelsea midfielder has been linked with Napoli, Liverpool and even a return to Stamford Bridge, but would likely cost anywhere up to his reported £40m release clause. Matic is a fixture in Benfica’s midfield, and prides himself on his passing, but also his power in the middle of the park. He would be an absolutely excellent signing for the Reds, although it remains to be seen if they would be willing to shell out such a large fee for the player.
