It may seem like something of a failure that the Mexicans are having to make the World Cup via a play-off with New Zealand, but it’s actually quite an achievement following a dire start to their qualification campaign.
Hernandez will almost certainly lead the line against a Kiwi side that are no longer considered one of the minnows of world football following a great showing four years ago.
