The Northern Irishman will oversee an overhaul at Anfield this summer.
After finishing second in the Premier League and returning to the Champions League after a five year absence, Brendan Rodgers has big plans for Liverpool this summer.
The 41-year-old is preparing to axe a whopping 15 players from his current squad in order to free up more funds to purchase new players.
The Reds hierarchy have given Rodgers a £60m budget to spend on new talent, but have also said that any finances he can raise from sales will also be his to spend.
So here is the list of 15 players the Northern Irishman is going to offload, as reported by the Sun and the Telegraph.
Daniel Agger
The Merseysiders’ vice-captain has fallen behind both Martin Skrtel and Mamadou Sakho for place in central defence and Rodgers is not a fan of the Dane.
A number of clubs including Barcelona are interested and Agger is expected to fetch £12m.
Luis Alberto
After a £7m move from Sevilla last summer the 21-year-old has managed just two starts in 11 appearances in total and already looks set for a return to Spain.
Iago Aspas
Rodgers’ transfer dealings clearly needs some work as £7m was also sanctioned for this Spanish forward in 2013 and the striker has scored once in 15 appearances.
Oussama Assaidi
Had a solid loan spell at Stoke City in 2013/14 with the highlight being scoring the winner against Chelsea, although did not do enough to earn a place back in the squad at Anfield.
Aly Cissokho
Signed on an initial loan from Valencia, the Merseyside club are not going to take up the option to sign the left-back permanently after a largely poor campaign in England for the Frenchman.
