The finest player each side has going to the biggest tournament in international football.
The 2014 World Cup in Brazil is now only two weeks away and with the season over for most domestic sides excitement is really brewing.
As always the Premier League will have a host of stars on display, so fanatix has decided to pick out the best World Cup player for each of the 20 sides in the division.
Note – relegated clubs are included.
Arsenal – Mesut Ozil, Germany
The Gunners have a number of players heading to South America, but for his importance to his nation and the £42.4m that was paid for him, Ozil takes the place.
Aston Villa – Brad Guzan, USA
There are just the two representatives from Villa Park and whilst Dutch international Ron Vlaar is the captain of the Birmingham side, we believe Guzan is a more influential player.
Cardiff City – Gary Medel, Chile
Another club record signing here and whilst Medel may have not been able to save Cardiff from relegation, the terrier-like midfielder should play a big part for his country.
Chelsea – Eden Hazard, Belgium
It was a brilliant campaign for Hazard as the 23-year-old’s performances won him the PFA Young Player of the Year award and he is also the attacking focus of a promising Belgian side.
