Swansea City – Wilfried Bony, Ivory Coast
The second Ivorian on our list and like Altidore made the switch from the Eredivise in 2013, but unlike the American managed to score an impressive 26 goals for the Swans.
Tottenham Hotspur – Hugo Lloris, France
It was a strange season for Spurs, which started with the sale of Gareth Bale and lots of new purchases, but in Lloris they still have one of the best ‘keepers in the world.
West Bromwich Albion – Diego Lugano, Uruguay
With 92 caps for the Uruguayan national team Lugano is set to star alongside the likes of Suarez and Edinson Cavani at this summer’s competition.
West Ham United – Pablo Armero, Colombia
Like Sunderland Armero is the sole representative for West Ham and having moved to Upton Park in January there is still little known in England about the left-back.
