The players that impressed and those that should have done better.
In what was a highly anticipated Premier League clash between in form Everton and Tottenham Hotspur at Goodison Park, the match ended in a bore 0-0 draw.
There were some incidents of note, including two strong penalty appeals and a horrible clash of head and knee between Spurs goalkeeper Hugo Lloris and Romelu Lukaku.
It was a good day for defenders, so here are the best and worst performers from fanatix.
The worst…
Aaron Lennon
The winger was given another chance on the left flank by manager Andre Villas-Boas but just couldn’t provide the same threat as Andros Townsend.
Lennon of course has an abundance of pace, but couldn’t make the most of it and was kept quiet all afternoon.
The Englishman was replaced in the second half and club record signing Erik Lamela could well get the nod ahead of the 26-year-old next time around.
