Mauricio Pochettino has won over more than a few Saints fans since replacing the very popular Nigel Adkins last campaign and the Argentine identified a problem that needed addressing in great style.
Despite having a good first campaign back in the top flight the Hampshire side were leaky in defence, so Lovren was purchased from Lazio and has helped them become one of the best at the back in the league.
