For all the criticism the Gunners club record £42.4m signing has come under in recent times it may seem generous to include Ozil – but the 25-year-old has still made a solid start to life in English football.
With 10 assists and five goals in 30 appearances in both the league and Champions League it’s not as if the Germany international has been terrible and it’s obvious the playmaker possesses genuine world-class talent.
