Seemingly a starlet in South America for some time Neymar has finally made the move to Europe and is still only 21-years-old.
The Brazil international follows in the footsteps of a long line of talented strikers from the country and will have to compete with Messi at Barcelona for the adoration of the fans.
Neymar scored 70 goals and provided 40 assists in 134 matches for Santos back in Brazil and although those stats don’t quite compare with those of Cavani and Falcao, 24 strikes in 39 caps on the international stage give an indication of what the youngster is capable of.
With at least 10 more years at the top of his game Neymar could well become a Ballon D’Or winner for years to come and where better to be for that than at the Nou Camp?
