Mohammad Ali v Joe Fraizer
Before the fight had even begun between these two legends of boxing there was a bitter rivalry, with Ali claiming to be the Heavyweight Champion of the World after beating Sonny Lister in 1964.
Yet Ali was stripped of the title after refusing to fight in the Vietnam War and in the absence of a holder, Fraizer took up the mantle.
Each was held up as a political metaphor (Ali the left anti-war, Fraizer the right pro-war), but in an even fight that lasted the 15 rounds the great Ali was beaten by Fraizer after being floored in the 15th.
