In 2003 British sprinter Chambers was stripped of two medals after testing positive for performance enhancing drugs, but by 2006 was back in the relay team for the European Championships.

For fellow runner Campbell this was too much and although they raced together as part of the four man team and won gold, the former refused to perform a lap of honour with the disgraced star.
