The stars that have stood out from the crowd so far this campaign.
It has been a somewhat surprising Premier League season so far, with Manchester United struggling and Arsenal and Liverpool flying high.
There have been some superb individual performances and here are the top five from fanatix.
Leighton Baines – Everton
It’s been another great showing from the 28-year-old, who is not only staking a claim to be the best left-back in England, but possibly even world football.
The ever consistent Baines has played every minute of the Toffees’ campaign to date and also netted two brilliant goals to win the game against West Ham United.
Paulinho – Tottenham Hotspur
The central midfielder was briefly Spurs’ record signing earlier in the summer when joining from Corinthians in a £17m deal.
Of all of Tottenham’s new talent, Paulinho has been the most consistent and perhaps the most influential with a goal and an assist in the league.
Aaron Ramsey – Arsenal
What a season it has been for the Wales international who has been in superb form for the Gunners, netting four goals and providing two assists.
Ramsey has been the heartbeat in the north London side’s midfield and despite being surrounded by talent such as Sant Cazorla, Mesut Ozil and Jack Wilshere, has stood out as the best.
Daniel Sturridge – Liverpool
The England international has simply carried on where the 24-year-old left off at the end of 2012/13 and that’s by scoring.
Five goals in six matches is a great return for Sturridge, who is once again showing the form seen at Manchester City, but was stifled by Chelsea.
Yaya Toure – Manchester City
In a team full of stars it is still the solid core that maintains City’s success and Toure is certainly that as the 30-year-old continues to push the club forward.
Defeats to Cardiff City and Aston Villa in the league have been disappointing, but with Fernandinho playing in front of the back four the Ivorian has been able to break forward and has four goals.
