Not only would signing the Ukrainian winger irritate bitter rivals Liverpool, who nearly signed him in January, but it would provide United with a talented and seriously pacey wide man. Konoplyanka shines on the left wing, and loves cutting in and shooting on his excellent right foot. He would be serious upgrade on Ashley Young, and Adnan Januzaj could act as backup.
