Out – Ramires
Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti is known to be a big admirer of the Brazilian and is expected to return with a new offer in January – one that Chelsea should probably take. Ramires is superb on the counter attack in big games but struggles in the majority where Chelsea need to break down packed defences and his sale would allow them to secure specialist cover for Nemanja Matic in an area where they lack quality depth.
