Who has been voted as the best young player on the continent since the award began?

The nominees for this year’s Golden Boy, the award given to the world’s best young player under the age of 21, have been announced, and Liverpool ace Raheem Sterling is one of the favourites to win it.

If he collects the gong (which Arsenal’s Calum Chambers and Chelsea’s Kurt Zouma are also competing for), he’ll be in some illustrious company, as demonstrated by this list of the past 11 winners.
