This is probably the most surprising of all the players on the list despite the fact Ramsey had been showing glimpses of brilliance throughout 2013.
The Wales international was a much maligned figure at the Emirates Stadium who was struggling to get back to his best after a terrible injury and yet now is thought of as one of the finest central midfielders on the planet.
