1. Ryan Giggs
Club: Manchester United
The most highly decorated footballer in English history, Giggs has also incredibly played in every Premier League season since it began in 1992 and despite approaching 40-years-old the Weslhman is still a United stalwart.
The midfielder is the only player to match Ferguson’s incredible record at OId Trafford, with 13 league titles, four FA Cups and two Champions Leagues to just scratch the surface on a career of unbelievable success.
Giggs has changed his skills over the years, initially starting as a striker in the famous 1992 FA Cup winning side – that also included David Beckham, Paul Scholes, Nicky Butt and the Neville brothers – before switching to a lightning quick winger that smashed the ball past David Seaman in the FA Cup semi-final following a run from his own half.
Now entering the 22nd season of his career Giggs has been employed as a player/coach at the club where the former Wales international has enjoyed so much success.
