Extraordinarily, West Ham’s neolithic boss “Big” Sam Allardyce is one of the best paid bosses on the planet. To be fair, what Allardyce is on track to keep the Hammers in the Premier League after a very shaky Christmas but you’d have thought they could find someone capable of doing that for much less.
