1. Giuseppe Meazza
Meazza made his name with Inter as a youngster, regularly topping the goal-scoring charts back in the 1930s whilst guiding the club to three league titles and the Italian national team to consecutive World Cups in 1934 and 1938.
With 284 goals in 408 appearances for the Nerazzurri, he established his place in the history books as the club’s all-time top-scorer and in the hearts of supporters, despite a short spell with Milan in 1940.
Such was Il Balilla’s impact on Italian football but in particular the two Milan clubs, the San Siro’s official name still remembers today as the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.
