7. Thierry Henry/Lionel Messi/Samuel Eto’o – Barcelona
Though Henry was just passing his peak by the time he ventured out to Catalonia, the three of them provided a powerful outlet for the creative talent behind them. This of course was when Eto’o was still a prolific goalscorer and Messi was still a phenomenon whose talents were still only just becoming clear to those in the stands. They scored over 100 goals between them during their first season together and helped continue the dominance they’d already displayed both domestically and in Europe.
