After Manchester United and Borussia Dortmund’s progression to the Champions League quarter-finals on Tuesday night the final eight teams is now known.
For the first time since the new formatting of the competition all of the sides that finished top of their respective groups have made it through to the latter stages.
So with just five matches left for the eventual winners, fanatix thought it was about time an ultimate team was constructed based on the performances in the tournament so far.

In a group that also contained Paris Saint-Germain and Benfica, the Greek champions did well to edge through to the last-16 along with their French counterparts.
This was thanks to a superior goal difference which the goalkeeper played a big part in, as well as keeping a clean-sheet in their first-leg of the knockout phase to the Red Devils.
