The best starting XI from the Italian top tier.
It’s been another interesting season in Serie A 2013/14 with AS Roma starting strongly, but having lost pace to current champions Juventus in recent weeks.
There were some big transfers both in and out of the Italian top tier during the summer and there has also been some surprises in terms of form.
Inter Milan seem to have put their shocking displays from last year behind them and have lost just once in 14 matches, whilst the runners-up from 2012/13 Napoli look strong again under Rafael Benitez.
Despite Roma’s slight slump in form they have still been the unexpected success story even after losing Pablo Osvaldo and Erik Lamela in the summer, whilst giants AC Milan have been dire.
Therefore fanatix decided to pick out the best starting XI from the current season, with statistics courtesy of WhoScored.
