Chelsea youngster Nathan Ake is reportedly a loan target for three Premier League clubs.
The Daily Mail reports that Newcastle United, Leicester City and Watford are all interesting in taking the versatile Netherlands Under-21 international for a season.
Ake, who can play in defence or midfield, has been around the first-team picture at Stamford Bridge for three years, picking up a Europa League winners’ medal in 2013, but made only two starts last term.
And Jose Mourinho’s public pursuit of Everton centre-back John Stones has raised further questions over Ake’s Chelsea future ahead of a make-or-break campaign.
The Blues will apparently send the 20-year-old out on loan to a top-flight rival for the 2015-16 season to see if he can make the grade in the Premier League, and Newcastle are heading the queue.
