4. Larry Fitzgerald – Easily the most decorated receiver in the NFL at the moment, Fitzgerald has had one of the fastest rises up the record books in NFL history. The 8-time Pro Bowler has set multiple records for the fastest player to achieve many milestones. Fitzgerald also proved to be a clutch playoff performer, setting almost all single-playoff run records in 2008 and recording one of the best Superbowl performances in history in the Cardinals’ Superbowl XLIII loss.
3. Adrian Peterson – The Vikings star RB has dominated the NFL since he was a rookie. He holds the NFL record for rushing yards in a single game, which he set in only the 8th game of his career. He reached the 10,000 yard rushing mark in only his seventh season and has never rushed for fewer than 10 TDs in a season. He ran for 2,097 yards in 2012 – the second most in NFL history – after suffering a catastrophic knee injury the year before and was named NFL MVP.
2. Drew Brees – Perhaps the best pure passer in NFL history. Brees has set countless passing records – becoming the only player in NFL history to record multiple seasons of over 5,000 passing yards – a feat he has accomplished 4 times. He is also one of the most accurate passers in history, with a 65.9 career completion percentage – 2nd of all-time. Finally, he helped lead the New Orleans Saints to unprecedented heights after the city suffered through the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, winning three division titles and was the MVP of the team’s first Superbowl win in 2009.
