When he wasn’t claiming to be the best striker in the world or pulling down his trousers and grinding against taxi cabs in his native Denmark, Bendtner was getting into trouble with the Tyneside police.

Whilst on loan at Sunderland, Lord Bendtner was arrested along with then team-mate Lee Cattermole for allegedly smashing up and attacking parked cars in Newcastle city centre.

Over £4000 worth of damage was recorded but Bendtner was eventually cleared of all charges.
