It may say more about United’s dreadful season than Januzaj but it is no exaggeration to say the youngster has been the best thing about David Moyes’ first six months at the helm.
The 18-year-old looks capable of changing games with a trick, piece of skill or turn of pace and is technically brilliant.
United have tied the winger down to a long-term contact but they may find other clubs sniffing around the youngster in the summer if they fail to qualify for the Champions League.
