7) Toni Kroos
If United are not able to tempt Schweinsteiger away, then his midfield teammate Toni Kroos may prove to be a more realistic prospect. It seems as though Kroos is not interested in a move to United, however, despite Louis van Gaal making a personal phonecall to try and convince him otherwise. Kroos has so far failed to sign the new deal offered to him by Bayern, with the two parties seeming to be a long way apart with their respective valuations.
