Another midfield ace that the North Londoners have their eye on as they look for a more defensively minded player to partner either Aaron Ramsey or Jack Wilshere in the middle.

Bender has previously said he is unsure whether he wants to leave Leverkusen, but a switch to the Emirates Stadium would certainly be tempting for the German.
